A major advantage of all of our Gadget product line is the ability to work in multiple languages: Basic, Forth, and Assembler, and to switch seamlessly between them. Use each language's strengths, as well as your own.

We do not offer good-better-best modules; all our Gadgets are equally great! Our software programs them all with equal grace, through a virtual-machine-based gforth engine, amrFORTH.

PCF8574 8-bit IIC port expander.    Don't have enough I/O?    Add up to 8 parts for a total of an extra 64 bits of input and output! This part can even monitor inputs and notify the micro with a single pin (even if you're using eight of PCF8574's) relieving the micro of constant polling and comparing to prior status.

PCF8583 Real Time Clock/Counter with 256 x 8 Static RAM.  Versatile, tiny chip permits offloading of timekeeping from the micro freeing up cpu time for foreground tasks. Even incorporates an alarm register which can be loaded and forgotten. When the alarm occurs an open drain output goes low which can be tied back to any micro for either an interrupt or just poll for the event.   Use up to 2 of these per IIC bus.
